Penpot Desktop starts up with a blank white tab, adding a tab also shows a blank white page.
Your Instance setting is not set and is blank.
In your Instance setting, set a URL to your Penpot instance or use the default option https://design.penpot.app.
:::note In newer versions of Penpot Desktop, the splash view will stick and a warning message should show up if your Instance setting is blank. If not, you are using an old version of Penpot Desktop, plase update to the latest version. :::
